About Us
Your Trusted Paint Experts in North York & Richmond Hill
Welcome to Centerpoint Paint and Decorating, your trusted Benjamin Moore dealer serving North York and Richmond Hill. What started as a commitment to bringing premium paint and expert service to the Greater Toronto Area has grown into the region's go-to destination for professional-grade supplies, precision color matching, and trusted advice.
Unlike big-box stores, we're paint specialists. Every member of our team is trained in Benjamin Moore's advanced color systems, and we've helped thousands of homeowners, contractors, and designers bring their visions to life—one perfectly matched color at a time.
What Makes Us Different
We ask before we mix
A busy store will hand you whatever can is closest to the counter. We would rather ask first: which room, which surface, how much traffic, what sheen, and what state the wall is in. The colour is only half of the decision — the product and the sheen are the other half, and getting them wrong is what sends people back for a second weekend of painting.
Industry-Leading Colour Matching
We don't just eyeball colours. Professional spectrophotometer technology combined with our trained colour experts means we can match almost any physical sample — a fabric swatch, a piece of tile, a cabinet door, a chip off the wall. Bring the real thing rather than a photo: no screen or camera reproduces a colour accurately, and for wood we need a piece of the actual wood you are staining.
10-Minute Express Pickup
Message us on WhatsApp with your order and we'll have it ready in 10 minutes. Perfect for contractors on tight schedules or homeowners tackling weekend projects.
Brands You Won't Find in a Big Box
Alongside the full Benjamin Moore line we carry Fusion Mineral Paint for furniture, Meoded limewash and micro-cement finishes, SamaN water-based stains, Cutek and INSL-X — so you are not forced into the one product a general store happens to stock.
Cabinet Refinishing
We've worked out the process for transforming tired cabinets using Benjamin Moore ADVANCE and STIX. Ask us how we can help with your next kitchen makeover.

Our Expertise
Colour Consultation
Not sure where to start? Our colour experts will narrow the fan deck down with you, suggest coordinating palettes, and tell you honestly how a colour is likely to behave in your room and your lighting. See our colour families guide and sheen guide before you come in.
Colour & Stain Matching
Matching an unnamed wall colour, an old baseboard, a cabinet door or a floor transition — bring the piece in and we'll match it, often the same day. More on colour and stain matching.
Technical Support
Questions about surface prep, coverage or compatibility? Our team knows the science behind the paint and can recommend the right products and application methods for any project.
Project Planning
We'll work out exactly how much paint you need, suggest the right tools, and walk you through each step—from primer to topcoat.
